keep on continuing

Hi
Please help me with this sentence.
She kept on continuing with her work.
My question: I think 'kept on continuing'  is redundant and instead we can have just continued her work or kept doing her work. Am I correct?

Yes, you're correct! "Redundant" is the word for it!

(But "Keep on keepin' on" is a favorite casual play on words.)
