Keep company or give company

Which is correct, "Iam just going to keep mum company." or "" Iam just going to give mum company."

What is the meaning of bump in- "I bump my knee on the door frame"?

Top answer

Keep sounds more natural, but I can't say give is wrong. Bump means to hit, and in this case it would mean 'while walking'.
