I think 'passionate devotee of speed 'is better to hear but the sentence is overall a bit odd in meaning

Not only is Mrs Uschi Wuebel a chief executive of the company but she is also a (no 'a') very keen on speed/passionate devotee of speed.

50 years ago the purists would insist that, for parallel purposes, you change the order in the second half to read "but also she is", which is certainly awkward. For the sake of purity, you could also arrange it: "Mrs. Uschi Wuebel is not only.....but also......". This sounds good to me, and I'm not a purist by any means.
