Just the same

We know that "All the same" or "Just the same" are idioms meaning "nevertheless".
Would it be too ambiguous if I used "Just the same" in the non-idiomatic way i.e. meaning "in just the same way" as in "I like her and I like you just the same" ?

A: She tells everyone horrible, untrue stories about me. If you are her friend, you can't possibly like me!
B: Don't be silly. I like her, and neverthess I like you.

A: You like her better than you like me, don't you.
B: No, I like her and I like you equally.
