Just or only?

I know that just and only are often interchangeable, but is it possible to use just meaning "not until"?

Can we use just instead of only in the following sentence? It doesn't sound right to me, but I'd like to know your opinion.

"One of the actors was late, so the play only started at 10.30."

Thanks in advance.
