Just one of them, the rest (of them) (are) mine.

I heard this subject line in a movie. Here are two questions:

1. Do you think "of them" should be there?

2. Do you think "are" should be there?

I don't know the context, but it seems like someone has asked for something, say a chocolate, and there are a lot in the chocolate box. " you say "Take just one of them , the rest are mine" sounds quite okay to me.
