JUST LIKE and JUST AS

I have no clue whether you can say this?

1 I can finish early just as/like I can finish late. It all depends on my workload.

Could you also tell me if this sentences is grammatically correct and how to make it correct?

1 Being a dental surgeon isn't the same as a surgeon as a dental surgeon always gets the same kind of cases, therefore there isn't as much pressure involved as opposed to a surgeon who has to operate on people with different cases.

Thanks
