Hi,
When I watched a cartoon, I heard a father say this to his son:
"Dad has to go to work now, just like all the people we saw at work this morning. "
Can I change it to "...just like all the people we saw work/working this morning."
Can I make similar sentences like the aforesaid sentence:
Dad has to work in the garden, just like all the people we saw work/working in their gardens this morning.
Dad has to skate, just like all the people we saw skate/skating this morning.
Thank you very much.
