Just for swank

Hi

Is the underlined a natural and common phrase?

A - Why on earth do you wear such outrageously expensive T-shirts?
B - Just for swank.

just for swank = to show off

Thanks,

Tom

I'd guess that the word "swank" dropped off the radar screen some time during the 1960s.

Google NGrams shows that it had its heyday in 1941.
