I haven't counted, but I think there are more American mods than there are British. There are certainly quite a few regular contributors who are native speakers of AmE. Why do you ask?

Is there such a noun as "the native American English"? Does the poster mean "the native-American Englishman/Englishwoman"?

Whoever she or he is it is a clumsy way to describe them like that.

I would understand "native American English" to mean English spoken natively by American citizens. "native-American English" would presumably mean English spoken by native Americans — that is, indigenous Americans rather than desc
