Just as it becomes heavier

1) Just as A becomes heavier, so does B become stronger.
2) As A becomes heaver, so does B become stronger.

Do these sentences mean:

a) B becomes stronger as A becomes heavier (during the same time)
or
b) B becomes stronger in the same way A becomes heavier
or
c) B becomes stronger as rapidly as A becomes heavier (the two processes have the same pace)
