Is it ok to say " Could you have a message ?" instead of "Could you take a message?"

Thank you for taking your time. Well, Due to my poor English, I 'm afraid that I failed to make me understood.

What I wanted to ask you is that , if I want to leave a message ,

Can't I say to someone, " Could you have a message ?"

Doesn't " have" have almost same meaning as " take " ?
