Do 'for all the good ... might as well .... ' and 'for all the good .... might just as well....' mean the same?

Usually, the inclusion of ‘just’ expresses the belief that it would make no difference to the end result. Without it, ‘might as well’ is a suggestion (without that evaluation) to do something else.
