June is suffering from darkness phobia.

Are the following sentences correct?
If they are correct, what's the difference between the sentences of each set?

set 1
#1. June is suffering from darkness phobia.
#2. June is suffering from a darkness phobia.

set 2

#4. June is suffering from a stage fright.

I think #2 and #4 are correct but am not sure.

Top answer

Definitely #3 is correct. Names of medical conditions or common ailments are used without an article. I have not seen phobia used with a preceding descriptive noun.
