junction [not street]

Can you use junction this way because all I see in the dictionary is street junction?
How would you see this in a movie for example?
I'm at a junction in my life./I've reached a junction in my life where I need to choose between two things that will change my life forever. Door A will lea me down this path and door B will lead me down another.

Thanks
