Jump off a building, jump from a building

Is there a difference between Jumping off a building and '' jumping from a building''. If so, when do I use which one?

I've seen both versions until now.

And which is correct: sound coming from the speakers or '' sound coming out of the speakers''

thanks

  • 'Off' would probably be from the top; 'from' could be from the top or a lower floor.
  • And which is correct: sound coming from the speakers or '' sound coming out of the speakers''-- Again, either will work; their intent is the same.
