From the recesses of my mind which may well be very unreliable, I seem to remember the combination of 'jump, juice and jive' - something to do with the early days of bunny-hop, jive and rock and roll.

'jump juice' is also a slang term for coffee and the name then developed into several different types of stimulant drugs, such as speed - later it got toned down into the name for high-ene
