Julia Roberts' house

I heard an American saying Julia Roberts' house.(

I thought If a word such as that needs to have the possessive, I put an apostrophe after s. But I didn't think we pronounce like Julia Roberts's (He prounounced it like this, and not Julia Roberts') ~ Robertziz something like that.

So do you pronounce words that have apostrophe after s like that?

Most of us don't add a possessive "s" to a name that ends with "s", though I have heard it said that way on occasion.

Hi,

Most of us don't add a possessive "s" to a name that ends with "s", In Canada, I'd say we do

I suppose "Roberts" in America, and "Robertsiz" in Canada. Emotion: wink
