I recently heard people saying 'Julia should be the PM of Australia, she 's smart, she can get the facts, bang bang bang right on the ball'
what does right on the ball mean?
I know get on the ball means to clean up one's act and do a better job.

He has a lot on the ball. He's competent, and keenly aware of his surroundings. (Sometimes used to suggest he has lots of potential in addition to his obvious skills - "an up and commer"
