Judith

Judith

Opening the Ambassador’s letter, I danced.
My brain cells fighting the flood of serotonine
sipped the soup of incense.

Opening the Ambassador’s letter I danced.
I’m not anyone after all, I murmured,
stroking the nice letters written in red.

Opening your old, faded letter I cried.
Thinking, your charm’s still the same.
I wished you were here with me one night.
