"Judge coldly"?

Hello people,

Is there "to judge coldly" an English expression? Or there is something similar?

What I mean is to judge / reason about something / a situation, by leaving aside any emotion - so one would use logic over emotion in judging a subject that may stir emotions.

Thanks!

I am trying to translate an expression from a different language, which literally says "let's judge coldly"

The definition from dictionary, in that language, is:
"to analyze, ruminate, weigh carefully, without prejudice or passion"

I have found usages such as these:

"I am thinking that judging implies to detach yourself emotionally from your own deeds and judge coldl

Zenith667Now, as about "judging coldly", for some reason, I am actually interested if there is an English expression that contains the word "cold", or some other word that can imply coldness (as its literal meaning).
Not that comes to mind. Teechr's suggestions are the native choices.
