Can I say,

(A) He felt joyful /pleased / delighted / glad / happy and had a meaningful day.

To me, one of the words expresses a much stronger emotion than the rest. Which one do you think it is?

Saying that someone "had a meaningful day" is odd. Did you mean that the person "had a memorable day"?
