joke

I made a joke about Japan. Woud you think it's funny?
Could you please check if the following sounds natural?

Recent statistics show that Japan is the safest country In the world.
However, many of my friends complain that their hearts have been stolen by the beauty of the country.
Would you recommend it to your friends?

For me, this is pretty corny. People vary greatly in their reaction to jokes, so this is just one view. The English is mostly correct and natural, except for the typo "In" for "in", and also I'm not sure why you started a new line for each sentence.
