Joint/s pain

If the element of wind is too strong, we will suffer from joint/s ache. 
Should it be 'joints' or 'joint'? I think it should be 'joints' since I am referring to more than one joint, but wonder whether it is right.

LissionIf the element of wind is too strong, we will suffer from joint/s ache.
joint ache is the form, but that's not really idiomatic. I think this would be better:

..., we will suffer from aches in our joints.
