Joining the industry?

A certain firm, XYZ, is going to join the English education industry, for example. For XYZ this is the first experience, and thus would be a new challenge, new adventure, or 'going into the industry'.
What would you say this in business English? (Please don't be mindful of a word 'new', because I want to focus on 'going'.)
