John's or John's home/house

Good morning. Please, consider the following sentence:
I'm going to John's house at four.
Are (1) 'John's home' and (2) 'John's' two valid alternatives to 'John's house'? Actually I'd like to express the idea of 'house/home' without using the words 'house/home'... Thank you.

We don't normally use 'house' if John lives in a flat. You can omit 'house/home' if it is clear from context that you are not going to, for example, his place of work.

You would use 'John's' then (with the possessive S)?
Thank you
