John and I or John and me

Hi All,

Could you please let me know which is correct in the below 2 sentences:

1) John and I are talking about you.
2) John and me are talking about you.

I think 1st one is correct.

Hi,

I'd like to let you know what I think of these sentences, if I may.

1) John and I are talking about you. -- No doubt that this version is correct. The subject of this sentence is

John and I. I should be in the subjective case since it is part of the subject of the sentence.

2) John and me are talking about you. -- This one is not grammatica
