Jobsworth origin

[nq:2]I was slightly surprised to find that the word hadn't ... that it originated on That's Life sometime in the 1970s?[/nq]
[nq:1]Cassell's Dic. of Slang has it from the 1970s but doesn't mention 'That's Life'. How horrid to think Esther & her twittering crew mighthave made a useful contribution to the English language.[/nq]
I've just listened to Esther Rantzen on Broadcasting House_, in the course of which she said that "Jobsworth" was probably the only word that _That's Life had caused to be added to the OED, but that it had been used earlier by "a South African songwriter" (whom she left innominate).
