Jobs

Talking to a friend overseas about finding a job in LA. I say:

If you were here you would be able to get a job for sure! OR

If you are here you will be able to get a job for sure!

I"m trying to tell her that her chances of getting a job here is a sure thing! Which one is the correct expression?

Thanks!
