Vocabulary

job share

Hello,
could you tell me what this expression means?

"Are you applying for this post as a job share?"

It's one of the questions in an application form for a post of a teaching assistant. The school is going to employ two teaching assistants.
I think it means sth as: "will this post be one of your jobs/ your part-time job"?
Is it right?
I have checked the meaning of the term and I know 'job-sharing' is an arrangement between two people to share the hours of work and the pay of one job. I don't think, though, it depends on me whether I will share the post will somebody else or not...
I think, in this context, it means 'will it be one of your jobs/ your part-time job', doesn't it?
Thank you for your help!
Kind regards.

Frankly, I am not clear on what the original intends to say. Could it be job-sharing of just one of the positions they are referring to, i.e. 1/4 time? I really don't know, so I suggest that you answer instead more fully with what you would like to do, or contact them for clarification.

Yes, I think I will need to ask about this question the person who is responsible for recruitment...
