Dear Human Resources Manager,

If you are seeking a public relations strategist who can deliver bottom-line results, I'd like to make a case for myself.

I am a public relations professional specialising in corporate, commercial and social impact interests with more than 10 years of career experience. I have worked in situations in which business image plays a key role in the attainment of the company’s goals.

In an intensive job experience, I worked as a Communications Assistant Director for one of the top-telecommunications companies in Colombia, ETB. After six years, my rol played a deffinitive contribution in the image transformation of this commpany.

My passion is strategic thinking and my personal goal is to be one of the best consultant in public relations field. I am looking for a challening scenary and offer there my talent to design and implement solid communication strategies that complement concurrent corporate, public and internal interests.

After a sabbatical year in New Zealand, I am working temporaly as a PR Consultant in Colombia. Now, I am excited by the challenge of using my experience internationaly. And off course, I want to reach the highest level than my ability will take me to and have the opportunity to offer my know how, creativity and desire to make a difference.

Hmmmm. Excellent writing skills are an integral part of PR and your letter does not really demonstrate a high enough proficiency in English (sorry to sound harsh). Is there some way you can work to perfect your English before applying; I think for this sort of work you really need to equal native level to be able to compete with other jobseekers in what is an immensely popular type of work.
