-Conduct verification test on chips needed for module development and system boards to be used as reference system

hi,

To make it sound more like a job description, I am trying to look for words or expressions that are more simple and "to the point" to replace those underlined phrases.

I would greatly appreciate your expert opinions.

Thanks for the long awaited reply.

I have another question with regard to the phrase "which is to be used as", which I was thinking about using in my original phrase but didn't - I took out "which is"

I've found a sentence below on the web and I am wondering if it's possible to omit "which is" from the sentence.

(But tt sounds a bit wrong when I do.)

"The result is a new book, Blood Sport, which is to be published this week and is excerpted exclusively in this issue."

The reason I am asking this is because, as you can see in my original phrase, I used "which is to be", and for the purpose of making it shorter, I was wondering if it would be OK to omit "which is" without destorying the intended meaning, which is that "boards is to be used as the reference system."
