Jinx 3

Hello, teachers!

Should we use or omit "the" before the proper name of a festival? Is it optional?

- It rained on the first day of [the] Moon Festival, as the jinx says! There is a jinx that it never fails to rain on the first day of [the] Moon Festival.

Thank you very much.
Peace!

Here again you need 'superstition', not 'jinx', because there is no indication that an evil entity has put a curse on the Moon Festival. I think that the 'the' is strongly preferred here-- at least it sounds much more natural to me.
