While Christmas Day is celebrated as the day on which Jesus was born, it is not generally referred to as his birthday.

That is what you would say in the unlikely even that you met Jesus himself on Christmas Day.

Hi

I don't want to be too pedantic but, in fact, no one knows the day on which Jesus Christ was born. My guess is that he would have found it odd to be congratulated routinely on that day, although his coming-of-age would have been noted, in his early teens

Hi

My feeling is that religious greetings don't translate well unless the people of the particular faith choose their own way of translating them. I certainly understand what you say about a religion having a known person with a birthday on which to celebrate but I'm not sure how to say it

As Jim suggests, Happy Imam Mahdi Day sounds right to me
