I wonder if it is correct to use -ing verb after the word 'imply'?

Some examples:
1. ...process implies working as a team...
2. Your new position implies smiling to everyone.
3. To be a digital manager implies posting useful content every day.
4. Promoting new account implies following people who interested in the same topic.

The main reason against using -ing verb after 'imply' is this word doesn't belong to the list of -ing linking verbs.

Thanks a lot,
