Jealous

Can you say " I am jealous of him " meaning he is making me feel jealous? Can you be jealous of something as in he is extremely jealous of his things?

Possibly, that would do for the first sentence. What about the second one? It sounds more than fine to me.Emotion: wink

I think that "envious" is the correct word in your second sentence.

"John is envious of Tim's things".

or maybe, "John is envious of Tim for the things he has", is better?

Meaning that John wishes he had the things that Tim has.

Not necessarily that he wants Tim's things, but things like Tim has.
