Jayan is still considered a youth icon.

Dear all,

In my part of the town there was an actor named Jayan. He was a superstar in the Malayalam film world in late 70's. He did stunt scenes without the help of a dupe. During the shooting of one of those adventurous scenes he lost his life in 1980. Still now he is considered a youth icon. He has a lot of fans from the younger generation. In this context, could you please tell me which of the following sentences are correct?

1) Jayan has been considered a youth icon since his death in 1980.
2) Jayan is considered a youth icon.
3) Jayan has considered a youth icon since 1980.
4) Jayan is still considered a youth icon.
5) Jayan has been considering a youth icon since his death in 1980.

This is surprising and unfamiliar. You need another wording.
