There are a couple of spots on the anatomy where this would be a very effective means of making him loosen his grip.

I remember reading on something on using keys as self-defence weapons and it suggested jamming one up someone's nose. Nasty.

I was trying not to be so graphic. The eye sockets are actually what's recommended. Not sure if I could do it - but then, thank goodness, I've never been in a position where I had to try. Also, into the throat. You don't break through, but a blow to that area can be quite painful.

Jam keys into eye sockets? I don't think girls can do that.

If someone attacked me I hope I'd strike out in any way possible.
