Hi,

What do we call the kind of prison for teenagers?
In Iran people under 18 are sent to a kind of prison other than the one used for adults.
I wonder if there exists such a place in US or other countries?

In the USA they are called Youth Detention Centers or Juvenile Detention Centers (known colloquially as Juvie ). In the UK they're called Young Offenders' Institutions . Rover
