Hi,
“I’m still pretty jacked up on adrenaline after skiing down the black run.”
Would this phrase be used in British English as well or do you have something else to describe it?
It means that somebody's full of energy after a physical activity or something that triggered a release of endorphines. The person's restless and doesn't seem to be tired. If you, for instance, work out at 10pm, you might have troubles falling asleep because you’re jacked up on endorphines or when you drink too much coffee, you might say that you’re jacked up on caffeine.
What would a British person use instead?
Thank you.
