I've seen that at some people (that) I know?

Hello

is it wrong to say:

1) I've seen that at some people I know

2) I've seen that at friends of mine

(Assume that I'm talking with a person and tell him about something that I've seen)

why is it wrong?

Thanks

Hi, You saw it at a place, not at a person. eg I've seen that at my friends' apartment. eg I've seen that at the home of some people I know.

Hi Clive,

Can I change a pronoun from 'at' to 'in' to improve it?

I've seen that in some people I know.

Fine . The use of 'in some people' makes it sound like 'it' refers to some attribute or emotion,
eg jealousy, eg superior intelligence.
