I've ridden one/it.

I'd like to know the difference the words "one" and "it".


If somebody asks you "have you ever ridden a horse?", which do you say, "I've ridden one/it"?

You can answer I've ridden one but not I've ridden it. But this is not a natural answer.

A native speaker would answer simply Yes or Yes, I have.
