I've promised

Talking in the present:

I'll go visit you. I promised. Or

I'll go visit you. I've promised.

This is in regular conversation.

Are both usable and correct and natural?

Thanks!

More natural is I'll come (and) visit you. I promise.

But the other person whom I'm planning to visit is in another city. So shouldn't go be more appropriate?

And the reason why i'm planning to visit is because I made a promise in the past. So shouldn't it be I've promised?

Thanks again!

I assume you mean you are talking on the phone. We still normally use 'come' in this case. Our point of reference is the place where the other person is.

eg I'm in the living room, and my wife is in the kitchen. She calls my name.
