'I've just' or 'I just'

Dear All,

Is it: "I've just requested an information package", or: "I just requested an information package". The word 'just' is a time indication, isn't it? Therefore, I'd say that it should be the latter. However, the former feels kind of natural too.

Thanks in advance,

Buffett
