Hello.
I'm confused about usage of as if and as though. I know that their meaning is exactly the same, but I'm not sure when I have to use them instead of "Like"and what the rules of usage are.
For example: I have found that we use past simple tense after AS IF when we're talking about things that aren't real and present simple tense when we are talking about sth real.
here is the example:
1) She behaves as if she was crazy. (however she isn't crazy)
2) She behaves as if she is crazy. (she is crazy)
Are these correct?
Please explain all the differences etc. because it's very important to me.
Thanks in advance. ![]()
