[I've felt a shake in my house] or [I've felt my house shake]

I have made up the first sentence below.

(1) For the past two nights, while I've been cooking dinner, I've felt a shake in my house.

My non-native English speaking friends' version is (2), as shown below.

(2) For the past two nights, while I've been cooking dinner, I've felt my house shake.

Whose version sounds natural to native speakers. Thanks a lot for your help.
