Ive

So I've been waiting for a parcel for the whole day, so I called customer service and they tell me there was an attempt made, but I wasn't home.

So I reply with:

I've been home the whole time, so there hasn't been any attempts made. Or

I've been home the whole time, so there wasn't any attempts made.

Which is correct?

However, both are quite confrontational. The wise customer would say:

I've been home all day, but I haven't heard the doorbell. Could you check with your driver to see if he has the right address?
