I think it's a movie thing. In real life, it's unlikely but if at all possible, a mom might smack her son on his "back" in a grief for a terrible wrongdoing he has committed.
I wrote this. I'd like to have this examined by English experts, you guys.
Please correct my sentence. If it's awkward in every sense, could you put this in different wording?
I'm especially concerned with the underlined part.
