It's too big a stop

To what may imply "too big a stop" in this context please?

Daily" here is short for "Daily Scrum," a 15-minute meeting for all participants in an Agile software development project. This statement is one of the things developers say that can build resistance to willing participation in an Agile project.

Then one memeber says: "I have nothing to say on the daily anyhow – it's too big a stop"

I'm not certain, but my guess would be that they are saying the meeting is too much of an interruption to their work.
