It's not called gift

If a person goes somewhere they brings some thing that is found in that place only while coming back to their home say an ivory ring.

What is it called in English.

Or

If a person comes to meet you they brings you a special gift from their place which is found only in that place say an ivory ring. What is it called in English.

A month or so ago I saw it on online Cambridge Dictionary but it doesn't spring to mind now. Please help me.
